At the University of Missouri - St. Louis, I am responsible for overseeing the German section. As the full-time faculty member for German, I teach classes from across the curriculum. These classes include:

German 1001        (first-semester German)

German 1002        (second-semester German)

German 2101        (third-semester German)

German 2170        (Intermediate German Composition and Conversation)

German 2180        (Readings in German)

German 3210        (German Culture and Civilization)

German 3211        (Topics in German Culture)

My teaching portfolio at the University of Texas at Austin includes a wide range of language classes. In addition, I designed and taught, together with a colleague, an upper-division German theater course that closed with the production of Bert Brecht's Herr Puntila und sein Knecht Matti. I was also one of two instructors in charge of the German Outreach Program, in which undergraduate students were instructed in teaching methodology and taught German at local primary and middle schools.
